TREE PLANTING EXERCISE AT NANSENGWE PRIMARY SCHOOL

Youth Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (YASCON) in partnership with Jane Mphamba Foundation , today facilitated a tree planting exercise at Nansengwe CCAP Primary School following a donation of 70 fruit tree seedlings from a well-wisher.

Youth Association for Conservation of Nature and Environment (YASCON) in partnership with Jane Mphamba Foundation , today facilitated a tree planting exercise at Nansengwe CCAP Primary School following a donation of 70 fruit tree seedlings from a well-wisher.


The seedlings included pawpaw, passion fruit, granadilla, mulberry, and loquat trees aimed at promoting environmental conservation, nutrition, and practical learning among learners.


“We believe that the fruit trees donation will improve the learning environment for the pupils. But Also today's initiative provided the learners with practical learning experience.” said Chikondi Mphamba, founder of Jane Mphamba Foundation 


School authorities commended the initiative, describing it as an important step toward strengthening environmental conservation awareness among learners.


Headteacher of Nansangwe primary school, thanked the two organizations for this initiative, saying it is promoting a clean and sustainable environment while encouraging learners to take part in protecting nature.
