We are thrilled to share a major milestone for our enterprise development program as one of our youth conservation clubs in Mangochi, Sumaili Youth Club has received 18 Langstroth beehives through African Parks' Honey with Heart project.
Even better, our youths have also been granted a dedicated space inside Mangochi Forest Reserve to hang their hives, alongside basic beekeeping training to kickstart sustainable honey production. This incredible support directly boosts our mission to empower young people through sustainable entrepreneurship. By launching this initiative with proper training, our youths are gaining practical skills, building economic independence, and actively contributing to forest conservation.
A massive “THANK YOU” to African Parks for recognizing the potential of our youths, offering this vital training, and providing this valuable assistance. Their enterprise development approach aligns 100% with our own program, bringing us one step closer to creating sustainable, green livelihoods for our community.
Stay tuned as our young entrepreneurs begin this sweet journey into beekeeping.
